Slow & Steady Wins The Race (1lb a week)

I’ve been working with client Caroline now for a long time.
It’s fair to say we’ve had our ups and downs (weight loss I’m talking about).
She does really well and loses weight, then not so good and puts it back on.
That’s how it’s been for the last few years.
This year however has been different.
She’s more focused and motivated than ever and she’s seeing the results.
She wasn’t overly pleased at the start of the year when she was just losing 1lb a week.
Then another the next week and so forth.
In say 16 weeks this year she’s lost at least a lb in 14 of them.
It was too slow for her at first (I get this reaction a lot with a 1lb weight loss), we want everything fast today.
But now into April that minimum 1lb weight loss a week has turned into a stone and a half.
The best bit?
She’s still living her life, she’s being sensible with her meals but she’s not crash dieting or starving herself, she’s eating out if she wants to, she’s having a drink if the occasion calls.
If she carries on like this all year she’ll lose 4 stone. 
That is life changing.
