All of this exercise and health living business can be quite hard work at times wouldn’t you agree?
I’m sure you’ve all thought at one point ‘What’s the point?’
Even I have. I occasionally think how easy it would be and how much more time I would have if I didn’t train and I ate what I want.
I know I never will though.
A lot of people’s reasons for exercising and dieting is weight loss, is this wrong? Not necessarily BUT the main reason behind doing it should be for your HEALTH.
A healthy body:
- Loses weight faster
- Gains muscles faster
- Has more energy
- Sleeps better
- Is ill less
- Is more productive
- Looks better
- Feels better
How do you get a healthy body?
Exercise and a good diet goes along way.
So if you’re trying to shift some weight but it’s not going off fast, don’t worry, don’t give up.
If you’re doing it properly you’re definitely making your body healthier which is massively important.
What is possibly more important than your health? Nothing as far as I’m concerned.
You could have all the money in the world but if you can’t make it up the stairs without getting out of breath, can’t enjoy time with your family because you feel too bad then is it worth it?
For the younger people reading this you might think it doesn’t apply to you but the choices you make now affect your future no matter what your age.
If you abuse your bodies now then it will have an affect in the future.
Whenever I have a little binge on junk food, mixed in with a night out I feel terrible. I start to get a little cold, my skin doesn’t feel good. And that’s just after a couple of bad days, think how a lifetime of this behaviour will make you feel?
That’s why I know I’ll never abandon my healthy lifestyle.
I hate how bad being unhealthy makes me feel and I love how good a healthy lifestyle makes me feel. It’s a no brainer for me.
By following a healthy lifestyle you are making an investment in your future.
Don’t just do it to lose a few pounds.
Do it so you can feel great, achieve your goals and enjoy your life knowing your health is taken care of.
So don’t put it off any longer.
Think about the future.
How much will you enjoy your retirement if you’re stuck in the house due to lack of mobility or poor health?
Invest in your future.
