Daily Fried Chicken Leads to 13% High Risk Of Death

That’s the statistic hot off the press from our US friends this week!

This study was carried out on post menopausal women who ate 1 serving a day of fried chicken.

An increase in heart disease and the risk of type 2 diabetes formed part of the reason for people ‘checking out’ early.

Eating fried potatoes twice a week was also found to bring down your life expectancy, well it actually doubles your risk!

When you look across many of the ‘bad’ foods they were good at some point.

Fish = healthy
Fish in batter or fried = unhealthy

Chicken = healthy
Fried chicken = unhealthy

This is rife, yes it can taste lovely cooked that way but go back to basics.

Grilled chicken, grilled fish – if you’re really unhealthy try a mars bar on it’s own don’t deep fry it

Yes on occasion we can all have whatever we want but make it an occasion, not the norm.

You’ll live longer and have more time to enjoy the many other finer things in life which aren’t food or alcohol!

The cooking process, the oils and the processed ingredients which make of junk food is shortening our lives there’s no doubt about that.

That’s how serious it is. the question is, Is it worth it?

If the answer is yes then keep doing what you’re doing.
