I’ve said many times in the past that I think that gym memberships are one of the best value for money investments that you can make.
IF YOU GO
If you don’t go, these gyms aren’t going to chase you (unlike I do with my clients ;-)) plus you’re wasting your money,no matter how cheap it is.
Working out at home does require extra dedication to some degree, the sofa, TV and fridge are dangerously close and there could be plenty of distractions but on the flip side it’s the most convenient place to exercise. You don’t have to jump in the car to get there, queue for gyms, sort out your kit bag etc
Plus you don’t need loads of equipment to workout at home.
Here’s a bodyweight exercise routine you could do at home if you can’t make it to the gym or just wanted to try something new. (great when you’re on holiday/away too)
It does require a reasonable level of fitness to do all of these exercises so they may not be appropriate for you depending on where you’re at.

PS You’re going to be hearing a lot more about this going forward.
There’s new and exciting changes going to be happening at my training facility in the next couple of months. It involves the launch of a brand new 6 week weight loss program, massively bigger timetable plus a big new re-fit and new equipment. This will mean that the prices will change going forward for new members coming in. If you want to sneak in on the current rate before prices come up then now is the time! You just need to fill out this quick form and I’ll be in touch with the rest: https://richardclarke.wufoo.com/forms/z1er7vuu1q0wrkf/
