As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago I was off to one of my personal training clients Jim’s (and Gustas) wedding.
It was over in Amsterdam and was an absolutely amazing day.
Jim has come one hell of a long way over the last 3 years and has brought me some of the best results I’ve had with a client since starting in the industry.
Yes he’s lost weight
Yes he’s put on muscle
But there’s been more to it than that
The single biggest difference is his confidence and happiness. His energy is contagious.
He’s been through a rough patch prior and in the early stages of starting with me and to see him come out the other side almost a different person is so good to see.
I’m not taking full credit, he’s a pretty marvelous human being and very determined.
I’ve definitely never seen anyone dance so much in one night! I couldn’t have done it.
Towards the end of the night he said to me ‘Picking up the phone to you was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made’
I was so happy and touched he said that.
Irrelevant of who trains you or how you do it, starting exercising and doing some good stuff for your help changes your life for the better every single time.
Being inactive and eating junk has the opposite effect.
It’s not about blasting yourself in fitness classes and eating boring salads.
My clients exercise with me twice a week for 45 mins, I encourage them if they can to go out for a couple of walks as an extra if they can fit it in.
They can eat 3-4 times a day
On weekends they enjoy steaks, burger and chips, curries and loads more
Even the odd glass of wine/beer
This is all part of a normal life
None of my clients are professional athletes so I don’t try to make them train or eat like them.
If you like the sound of this approach then fill out this form and I’ll be in touch with how I can help you.
Take care,
Jamie Stedman
