How do you start your day?
It’s well known that the most successful people often have a solid morning routine.
I’d love to say I wake up at 5:30am naturally to the birds singing and then do some yoga in the garden followed with a green smoothie and healthy breakfast.
Unfortunately I live in Wales so that’s not possible.
But I do have a reasonable morning routine (it needs improving though).
I wake up to my SAD fighting alarm clock which gradually lights up my room for 30 mins before giving me a little beep to officially let me know it’s time to get up.
Beats a noisy phone alarm.
I start at different times each morning so I have different routines each day.
Some day I’ll have breakfast at home, others it’s prepped in my bag for post sessions/exercise but I’m always prepared and I always know what time the next meal is and what it is.
I hear so many times ‘I haven’t got time’, yes some people are busier than others but we all have the same 24 hours each day.
Some use their time well, others DO NOT!
I’m a firm believer that how you start your day dictates the rest of your day.
Wake up late, rush around, argue with your partner, miss breakfast before you’ve left the house and you’re going to struggle to have a good day.
Alternatively get up that bit earlier, calmly go about your morning routine and leave at the right time with a nice goodbye to your loved ones is a much better start to your day.
You’re in control.
Each day make a plan of 4-5 things you want to achieve in order of importance.
If you can get 1-3 of those done you’ve had a good day.
It all started with a solid morning.
This sort of lifestyle management advice is stuff I teach on my Revitalise Plan.
Just so you know I am expanding my fitness studio which means prices will be going up and places harder to come by so if you’re on the fence about joining then now is the time. All the details below.
