As I’ve mentioned a few times recently my girlfriend and I have bought a house.
We’ve been in a few months but there’s been some decorating jobs which we have been putting off doing for a while.
We decided a couple of weeks ago to have a bit of a push to get it done.
It’s nothing major, just things like painting, putting a curtain pole up, mirrors and picture frames on the wall. That kind of stuff.
To most people, simple for me who isn’t the greatest DIY enthusiast around it’s a different ball game.
We’ve done quite a few of the tasks over the last couple of weeks. Some have gone well, some not so well.
We’ve got a slightly wonky shelf, some nice bits of plaster board off the wall and paint on the floor.
End product is, better than it was, but definitely not perfect.
I’m all for learning and trying things but sometimes when you want to get something really right (not okay) you need help.
My parents and girlfriends parents are much more experienced in the DIY game and we maybe should have recruited their help with a few things.
Why am I telling you this?
Just like I need help with DIY, many people need help with their health, fitness and weight loss.
If you want to go solo and piece together/make up your own workouts and diet plans you may see some results, but it won’t be the best.
If you want to be truly fit, well and healthy (if you get those right then the weight will take care of itself) then why not seek the help of experts.
Yes getting help does cost more but you get more value. You’ll save yourself a lot of time, effort and money in the long run by taking action early.
