Does Snacking Stop Weight Loss?

It’s fair to say that one problem with most people’s weight loss attempts are simply they’re eating too much.
Most people eat 3 meals a day, most people also snack anywhere from 1-5 times a day around meals.
An easy way of cutting calories is to cut out the snacking which SHOULD help any weight loss attempts.
Does that mean snacking is always bad?
Absolutely not, snacks play an important part of my routine along with some of my clients.
Everyone is different and everyone has different routines, some need to snack other don’t.
The most important thing?
You guessed it.
What you’re snacking on.
If you snack on good nutritious things then it should aid your weight loss efforts while stopping you from overeating on the wrong things.
If you’re eating 3 healthy meals throughout the day but snacking on biscuits, crisps and chocolate bars then it’ll eventually bring your weight loss to a grinding halt.
Another thing to think about is why do we snack?
Are we hungry – or just bored?
Are we hungry – or is it just routine because we’ve put a film on?
Our habits dictate our results.
The most important thing you can do is to look at your daily habits, identify which are healthy and work on those which are unhealthy.
So snacking doesn’t have to be bad but as with everything just be sensible and mindful, not eating just for the sake of it.
It boils down to how much do you want to succeed, if it’s enough to stop you from reaching for the biscuit tin then you’re ready to achieve.
I can help you get there faster with my Revitalise plan. We’ve got 6 spaces left starting this March.
I’ve even got a healthy snack section in my recipe book that you get as a member!
