How Confident Are You?

Everyone has a goal.
Every single person is aiming for something, working towards something.
These goals are personal to you and they mean something.
Most common goal I hear?
Lose weight
People don’t actually want to lose weight as their goal, the numbers don’t mean much. It’s how they look and feel which prompt them to want to lose weight.
How many of us/you reach our goals?
Some do, most don’t. Some get close, others get nowhere near.
Why do so many of us fail?
We aim too high.
Being fitter and a normal weight in my opinion isn’t aiming too high, it should be the bare minimum to be healthy.
But!
It’s how we chase it is the reason we fail.
We seek perfection, I don’t know many people who can go from sitting on the sofa and eating junk to hey presto exercising every day, meal prepping and drinking 2.5 litres of water every day.
It takes longer.
Aim for the little wins
Smaller bite size wins all add up to the big win
What is more sustainable?
Week 1
Drinking 2.5 litres of water a day
Exercising 4 times a week
Walking 10,000 steps a day
Meal prepping for the week
Or
Week 1
Drinking 2.5 litres of water a day
Week 2(plus)
Exercising 4 times a week
Week 3(plus)
Walking 10,000 steps a day
Week 4(plus)
Meal prepping for the week
Take your time, take 1 month to do it not 1 week.
As you achieve goal 1 your confidence will improve enough for you to hit goal 2 as well.
Don’t seek perfection, CONSISTENCY is what you need!
